The Office for Zero Emission (OZEV) Grant
From the 1st April 2022, the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) will come into play. The WCS “provides eligible applicants with support towards the upfront costs of the purchase and installation of electric vehicle (EV) chargepoints. After an applicant applies, installers claim the grant on their behalf.”
The scheme works by giving grant-worthy applicants up to 75% of the total costs of the purchase and installation of EV charge points (inclusive of VAT) which is capped at a maximum of $350 per socket with 40 sockets allowed across all sites per applicant.
